How to Start a Career in Real Estate

Step 1:
Your first step is to complete the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) approved 63 Hour Pre-licensing course.
The 63 Hour Florida Sales Associate Pre-licensing course can be completed online 24/7, in a local a classroom, or live streaming. We provide in-person and live streaming course in both English and Spanish .

Step 2:
After enrolling in the pre-licensing course, you must get fingerprinted at one of the state’s testing centers.

To schedule a fingerprint reservation, please contact Pearson’s third party vendor, IdentoGO By MorphoTrust USA (formerly known as L1 Enrollment).

Schedule your exam reservation first, then contact IdentoGO and schedule your fingerprint reservation as close to the start time of your examination as possible. It does not need to be the exact same time. As long as you make your fingerprint reservation, the testing center will be able to process your prints when you arrive for your exam. Step 3:
After getting fingerprinted, you must now complete the state application.
You can apply online at the Florida DBPR website.
You can also Print the State Application.  The application fee paid to the state is $83.75.

On average it takes about two (2) weeks to get state approval, however this may be shorter or longer depending on the current amount of applicants.

Step 4:
Once you receive state approval and have completed the pre-licensing course you are now eligible to take the state exam.
